Big-O in Choc-O Seminar

By Damsel Leah Gatus, BA601E

"There are times when CHOCOLATE really can fix all your problems."

Annually, e-FMS club offers activities that would help all BSBA students to look into opportunities which could be prospect business venture of theirs in the future. Last March 3, 2010, the club offers a seminar tagged as "Big-O in Choc-O: An Entrepreneurship Seminar on Finding Business Opportunities in Chocolate-Making". Ms. Grace Vinluan, an HRS alumna conducted the seminar. The event started at around 1:30pm in the HR Kitchen.

All were excited as Ms. Grace showed different methods of preparing chocolate into luscious recipes that were so mouth-watering, easy to do yet with reasonable prices. We were all in awe as she started the demo-cooking. Atop on her list was the rose-styled chocolate recipe. A simple melted chocolate was molded on a rose-style form, cooled, boxed and that's it! A perfect gift for love ones that looked so fabulous.

There were also other styles of chocolates that Ms. Grace taught us like the coffee crumble, cookies and cream, coffee choco, white choco, chocolate rice crispies and so many more...

With such scrumptious affair, of course, we never missed out one important thing. FREE TASTE! Students and faculty members just couldn't resist the temptation of the sinful CHOCOLATE (yum, yum, yum).

Still couldn't get enough of it? After the demo, some students were able to do some of the chocolate recipes, for there were still some ingredients left from the demonstration.

Another wonderful clubs' fair has ended. See you next year.
