BA201P took SHOTS!

By Divina Gracia Juson, BA201P

School has really been stressful. Stressful yet challenging. One of the most unforgettable events that happened before the school days ended was having our PE Dance Competition spearheaded by Ms. Rowena Napay, our PE instructor. It was a very tiring but enjoyable experience for all of us. The said competition was held at Brgy. Sta. Monica covered court last March 18, 2010 at exactly 6 o'clock in the evening.

Before the night of the competition, we kept on dancing, practicing again and again. We spent most of our time thinking and preparing for the said competition. We were all undecided as to what costumes we would be wearing and confused as to what kind of music we would be using.

Finally, the much-awaited night has come! A really remarkable experience to us all! The rest of my classmates from BA201P and I were really excited as well as the other participants that attended the Dance Competition Night. It was a breath-taking event for us. We had mixed emotions - excitement, nervousness and happiness.

Mr. Jonnie Baraquio lead the program. The board of judges was headed by Prof. Rodolfo Bautista with Ms. Charisse Hementera, Mr. Jojit Alcalde and Mr. Francis Samsom. Our excitement and nervousness was compounded as we saw the presence and support of our dear professor, Dr. Joseph Adan.

As the last performers of the night, our hearts beat doubly fast as we took the center stage. As the music took an onset, we started dancing to the beat of LMFAO ft. Lil John's SHOTS. We danced the best we can. We felt fulfilled after finishing the routine.

"Yes!!! Natapos din!"

All our hard work did not go to waste as they announced that we placed 2nd!!!
