31 JULY 2009. STIers flocked at Cinema 9, SM Fairview last Friday to witness one of STI's much-awaited events, the Talent Search 2009. Excitement rushed to all four corners of SM Cinema with the overwelming support given by the classmates and friends of the participants in different segments of the Talent Search. This year's talent search includes segments like the Battle of the Bands, STI Solo Idol, Hataw Sayaw, and Mr. and Ms. STI.
The
first segment was the Battle of the Bands were the three (3) best bands who made it to the elimination rounds performed. The "Day of Endless Light" band with Samuel Aquila Marquez (bass guitarist) and Shera Jean Limbo (vocalist), both from BA701E, won 2nd place...
The STI Solo Idol and Hataw Sayaw competitions followed next. The group "Rabidus Motus" with members Jennelyn Villasis and Shyra Manicar from BA501P was declared as the 1st runner-up winner.
Finally, for Mr. and Ms. STI, two freshmen BSBA students (from BA101A) bagged the highest awards for Ms. STI. Jobelle Montecillo was crowned as the 1st runner-up and Jasper Mariz Ishiwata got the title for Ms. STI Novaliches 2009.
The recently concluded talent search was truly a memorable event, especially for e-FMS members - those who won and those who had given their wholehearted support... We are truly proud of you!!!
